Reading to dogs

Sometimes children are a little intimidated when they are learning to read. They don't like to read aloud to adults for fear of making a mistake and being judged harshly for the mistake. Dogs however are totally non judgmental and make excellent reading partners. Have you child practice reading to a dog. Dog's love the attention and the stories and the kids will learn to enjoy reading in a non judgmental environment.
